New Toy

my mate bought one of these a while back for about a grand,  and crashed it into a bridge and wrote it off on the way home from collecting it with no insurance  8O

Really cool mate!! We dont see enough 'rat look' stuff on here I think its more an aircooled thing but im a big fan!!

Get a spare bonnet strip the paint off leave it get surface rust all over then cover it in something like waxoil or glisten pc! Or if your feeling brave do the whole car!!  8)

Just to let you know,sold the old girl on the bay,needed room at home for another toy :roll:  :roll:

'77 Turbo,Grand prix white,Martini side stripes,Blue leather interior, 102K ,3 owners from new, flying to Germany next monday to collect   was imported to England in 77,where it had two owners then sold to a collector in Bremen in 95,whose just sold it to me,going straight in the garage this one next to the Audi.,its a keeper!!!

8O  8O wow a early 3.0 turbo in period colours now that is a rare beast, one of my ultimate dream cars, god i demand a ride in that old chap  :pray: any pics to drool over

Not yet ,will take some on collection and drive home,if weather holds out will bring it to Brands at least once this year

was its a ebay purchase? seen a few early turbo's on there recently
what sort of condtion is it in mate? and what are your plans for it?

No,Got it through a old army buddy who is now a Sales manager for Porsche, he recently sold a GT3 to the chap,got talking and before you know it my bank account looks a lot emptier than it did on Friday 8O .Jurgen describes the car as immaculate and I know how particular he is from our Army days(Had a M3 that looked better than new!!)and from the pics I have it looks A1,so excited can't wait for next Monday,might swing by the 'ring on way back for a photo shoot!!
