New member withdraws from community

I've been a member here 2 1/2 years, and I think this club and forum is one of the friendliest and best I've ever been part of.

If this club isn't to your taste, then that's fair enough, but why do you word it as if it's going to be our loss for you not being on the forum??  :dontknow:   Don't be a fool, this is a fantastic community and resource for any golf owner to be part of, I think you'd be drasticly missing out not to be part of it.

I have to say i have met Bolo in the flesh so to speak and i did buy some mk2 seats off him, off the dreaded ebay :twisted:
he seems a genuine bloke.
but i think he can't blame the site for a deal gone wrong, what do we know about the guy he got the grill off?
i have to say i have lived a charmed life on ebay as most of my car including the car itself was purchased off ebay with not a single problem, except a power rhoer a bought didn't turn up but seller refunded the cash.
Bolo as with all good game shows the decision is yours i have meet  some of the north west crew and they seem a good bunch as for coming to a meet in you mk2 i have no problems with that as it will make my mk1 look even cooler  :wink:

did u actually get involved in any other parts of the forum or did u just come on here and ask your questions to prove he was a scammer??

bad ebay experience, not bad mk1 forum experience.

if your not happy with this forum then u dont have to post but we'll be here for you if u ever need any help in the future. as this is a friendly forum full of people willing to help others. seems to me ur being a bit ungrateful.

Yeah i just remembered, someone once borrowed my push bike 10 years ago and scratched it 8O ,

Once upon a time someone had a bad experience……..

The folks on this site seem to be genuine enthusiastic mk1 buffs, who are helpful when they can be, so why project your anger about your bad ebay experience onto others who are willing to offer you support and advice with your mk1.

Don`t get me wrong, l`m sympathetic with you getting scammed….
 
However l know from personal experience having bought an item via ebay and found a month later that my credit card details were used by someone else, who ripped me off for ?1200…..f***ing pounds. That lesson taught me ebay is not for the faint hearted.
 
Now that l`ve relived and shared my bad ebay experience……Welcome to the Darkside…. :twisted:

We Scots don`t want any torn faced moaning minnie, who happens to have a cactus up their ass because in lfe sh*t happens……occuping our islands. If however you continue to howl like a banshee and we are left with no choice, you`ll be delivered to xmas island off the west coast where you can play with the sheep, the anthrax and radioactive waste….OR… alternatively…….you could move to iraq, the gaza strip, darfur or zimbabwe….so do yourself a favour get a grip and a life.

The choice`s are yours; Live & Learn, become Lonely Itchy Glow Boy or find a hole in which to hide…….?  

Some folk don`t / will probably never know how lucky they truly are, that`s my venting over…… :mrgreen:
