my new rims!

Controversial one! either u like em or hate em……
bit like marmite really…

picked these babies up for ?230 off our trusty ebay, 1 rim was bent but i got it sorted for ?35 then polished like hell to get them gleaming.
plan was to paint the centers black like my old RAs but the gold is growing on me.. may leave them for a while as im skint but for the future
wot u reckon, gold, silver or black? :?

Gold looks wrong on a white car - black or silver would be good

I agree, Black or Silver, leaning towards Black though as it would go with the decals of the car.

gold looks a bit too 'pimp my ride' for me

Think on that size of rim would look best black or silver… haven't seen the marmite BBSs  . Don't mind the smaller BBS alloys in gold,

…although not quite sure about on a white car.

Are they the 3 piece RS rims? At 230 that's a steal!:y:   Was it german ebay?

Gold on anything but sonic blue looks pants IMO. Black Porsches with gold splitties can sometimes pull it off.

Silver all the way. Respraying the centre caps is not an easy task. Might be best flogging them and investing in some original silverware.

Personally I like your wheels in your sig are they Design 90's  cant see them that well. Are they Silver or a high powder finish? They look Schweeet! :P

I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday :D

I'd go black - but thats because its what i'm looking for on ebay in a BBS cross-spoke 14.
Just missed out on an auction at the weekend
I don't think the gold looks too bad, but i'd deffo go black rather than silver on a white car.
I love white cars with black rims, and a very slight tint to the glass.

Here you go . . . its a super cheap quick job with paintshoppro (which is poor compared to pshop) . . . but you get the idea . .

I think they look alright :)

Would have prefered the black centers but hey - each to there own I guess.

I have just put Design 90's on my Mk1.. :D

Yeah, black looks really good. I thought silver would be better but after seeing the superimposed colours, black is definitely the winner in my opinion.
