Nope, but I think it would be fairer if the pre CO2 cars where split into more than two bands. <1000cc, 1000-1500, 1500-2000, 2000-3000 etc

was going to tax mine today for the 1st April 2007 but can't the form states from the 1st March 2007 and unable to change the date, so would be losing out on a month. Please tell me people did check prior to payment  8O

Well, after listening to the budget, it seems that he's increased it by ?5 for pre 2001 cars, to ?180 for the over 1549cc car. He has enhanced the capital grants to support business investment in vehicle wash water reclaim units, though…..

Fuel duty will go up on 1st October 2007, by 2 pence per litre.

CO2 emissions band B cars went down ?5, C-E went up ?5, F went up ?10 (I think?) and G, went up from ?200 to ?300 this year and ?400 next year.

Of course, the main headline news is income tax has gone down 2% but they've abolished the low band anyway. They also aligned the NI bands with income tax…..

i paid ?195 yesterday for a years tax for my 4x4 volvo xc90 :wink: , and its gone upto ?400 a year, thats taking the p155
