If I could guarantee a little bit of reliability then this would have to be a contender - Alfa Romeo Stradale:

This will probably start a war by me saying this BUT I really don't like the Bugatti Veron.
I think supercars can be a bit boring but I wouldn't say no if I was offered one. I'd love a show winner car - one that's taken uber amount of hours to build and restore.
Any classic VW (camper, beetle, Mk1 golf, Karmann Ghia) -  the kind you see selling for rediculous amounts of money - like ?20k+
I'm a huge fan of porsche though - new and old. An original speedster :)
Oh, and to go against what I said earlier about supercars - I really do like the Lambo Gallardo! hehe

Paul, I can tell you the RS8 when launched will be a little bit better than the standard A8 you drove   I'm liking the coupe but it needs to be more agressive looking  :?

If I was only allowed one car to use practically for everyday driving and as a "fun" car too it'd have to be…

Mk1 Golf GTI 16-S

I love Eleanor - there are a few replicas about and I've seen a couple. There's a guy round our way has a Veyron and it really causes a stir when it's out on the road; a brilliant achievement - see the Bugatti site. But if it's a question of having one (rather than the greatest) then it'd have to be something that can do everything - how about an Audi RS4 or a Golf R32?
Fast, not too exotic, practical, should be long lasting…..
