Ok, i think i can remember….
Firstly you need a USB memory stick (the type that plugs into any PC) this goes in the USB slot on the front of the PS2
Save the race as a replay, and then when you go into the replay and start saving photo's you can adjust the location of the save file. i.e not memory card slot 1 or 2 but USB device.
To be honest its been a while since i played it, i took hundreds of photo's in black and white, 70's orange glow and such. let me know if it works, i might just have a run around the Nordschleife now im thinking about it
I will have a timed run around there, but what are the requirements for modding?
Weight, Tyres, engine, suspension etc
Cheers Emm
I used my MP3 player to do this, it's really easy. Thanks for the guide, but i still have to win a mk1
The lottery is for people who can't do math.

need the full custom transmission me thinks
Thats a pretty good lap with it fairly standard. The gearbox helps a bit but if you stretch the gears too much it won't pull too well up hills (unless you put in more power).
Anything more than 125bhp to 135bhp, i think spins too much and won't go around corners
Boring footy to watch tonight so will have a go tomorrow

The GTI races are individual and not a championship so how do you win another golf? Do you just do each of the races again or just the last one? I want more MK1's! Especially the black one and not the white one I've got at the moment!

But i just put in a 7:31.405
No Turbo
No NOS
But fully race spec (puts it about 217BHP) bit too much understeer under throttle
about 150mph but twitchy 8O
Full custom LSD to dial out some understeer and try to create "lift off oversteer"
I need to get out more

7.53 - thats fast. First run on 211hp with turbo landed 8.30 on the dot, however I did decide to venture in the world of offroading during that lap!

just click on enter race and itll come up do you wish to clear records, click on yes and redo the races. Ive found it quite a laff doing the races again in standardish motors with just oil changes and exhausts on plus try doing it in the other GTi's ie lupo and polo etc. Ive got doubles and trebles off all colours with at least one standard in all colours.
If you go into the wheels section then into used wheels at the bottom you can pick up ats classics and also sets off wheels that look like little polished split rims and also sometimes a revo four spoke in red and they look awesome on them when you lower them(another tip sports tyres make the wheels look slightly bigger),ill have another go tonite and try and get a haf decent time
agree with the above that the turbos gash, also reckon the nos is cheatin lol stage 3 na with all the gearbox gubbins rocks(lightened fly etc),another one with too much time on their hands lol got to love the ring tho. Roll on GT5 and the PS3

thats flying matey, ive not got the full lsd any advice on setting it up ,ill go shopping.

The Custom LSD set up is a bit like the the 1.5 LSD..
the three setting are as follows:
10: leave as standard
55: helps to stop the inside wheel spinning
5: minimum setting available helps the turn into corners
You can also fit the fully adjustable brake setting to:
3 at the front
6 at the back
this helps to assist the "turn in" while braking (but will creat instability on fast corners if you touch the brake during cornering)
hope this helps….but not too much
