You don't say where you're located, what model of Golf, engine size etc or what you done or didn't do to cause it.
Plus the use of capitals is deemed shouting .. Ops

I HAVE MENTIONED THE ENGINE SIZE ON THE HEADING

ITS A 1.8 GTI CONVERTIBLE

LOCATED BERKSHIRE

ITS NOT SHOUTING ITS JUST A HABBIT

IT HAS BEEN STANDING FOR A FEW MONTHS  I STARTED IT UP 2 WEEKS AGO AND IT WAS RUNNING ABSOLUTELY FINE I BOUGHT MY CAR BACK HOME YESTERDAY AND JUMP STARTED IT AND THIS HAPPENED AND ITS ALL I GET NOW HARD TO START AND MISSFIRING

As its been lying up, Try putting new fuel into it. Change the fuel filter. Change the plugs and fit a new cap & rotor.

It's still classed as shouting and now you've been advised is just bad manners to continue.

Ok you've made a good start in what you've done, this eliminates some of the 'basics'. I still think it's a fuelling issue but can't physically help out as I'm located hundreds of miles away from you!
Have a look in the forum for the injector testing - may be a sticky post? And try this, it involves using jam jars etc but will eliminate any issue you may have with a sticky injector, fuel pressure etc. let us know how you get on.

If you've has someone physically look at the engine, I'd go with their diagnosis rather than relying on the forum to give a better 2nd opinion. He (she)'s had the opportunity to see it, run the engine, hear it, look at components, rev it up etc etc

A leaking manifold is an issue which needs to be corrected, to get an engine working properly.
