Girlfriends borrowing the Mk1

 thanks mate!

tried everywhere you can think of that sell f*rd parts but it seems she may be the only person in the country to have broken one  :banghead:

phoned my insurance co. about the Rangie but it's too high an insurance group for her  :D so if I stick a V8 in the Mk1, she won't be able to drive that either

I'm also trying to convince her to sell it and use the corrado (once I've fixed it… yep, I'm still being very lazy) which she's thinking about

My missus has been driving my car this week as her beemer is off the road, and I have to say, I don't mind at all - firstly because she picked me up from the pub in it last night and secondly , she looks damn sexy driving it!  :D

My girlfriend loves driving my car. She's a good driver so I don't mind.  She reckons the gearbox on mine is much nicer than hers, and she drives a '02 VW Polo GTI!

She did however manage to get chocolate all over the passenger seat the other day    Luckily it cleaned off ok.  :D

I have to say i love letting my woman drive my car, for a few reasons, my old golf was stunning to look at but i never really got to see it on the move, so it was nice to see her driving away/twards me in it, and seccondly, there is something sexy about a girl in a high powered modified car ;)

oh and it was the only way i could convince her to sel her fiesta, and get a new beetle :P

Wife's been using my mk1 as her runabout for 3 years. It's not used for commuting so it's stayed relatively unscathed. I almost consider it her car.
My real pride and joy is a wolf in sheeps clothing Ford Capri that DOES require my permission for her to use. (actually she doesn't like driving that as much so I'm ok there, she can't see over the steering wheel)
