Feel sorry for this guy!!!

i work for a bodyshop and we do recoveries for the police.
The most common reason is no insurance but you do get the odd stolen cars (i.e the driver isnt the registered keeper and if there's no link to the keeper on their insurance then they bring it in)
and the odd section 59 or if the police reckon the cars been used in crime  :mrgreen:

just before you got to Dubfreeze today at the plod Hq just before the entrance to the show, the filth  :D  seemed to be pulling sus looking cars in for a once over the thing is you got a car that shouldn't be on the road then you get done and rightly so..

As to that van, if he had warnings before and ignored thats stupid!!

I dont know about lowness being an issue, my old bay window wa sone of the lowest beys around a few years back, ran 14" steelies with 185/45 tyres to stop rubbing, bottom of beam was about 3" from floor..

useless as a daily, but looked cool, never had a n issue with MOT nor the filth.. did get pulled a few times for the loud exhaust and drug searches tho!!! But never got told too low!!

i know i shouldnt do it but i like the look and went past loads of police on the motorway and near the show with no trouble and iv got white D style plates on front and back?

must just be lucky :)

If your going down the German look way then why not go the whole hog and put the steering wheel on the other side as well??

wonder if German Jaguar e-type drivers put English looking German plates on their cars???

thought not…..

i never said i was going down the german look! i just said i like the look of the plates, and also the steering wheel on the left would be a tad incovienient!

the your isnt directed at you but the folk who put these plates on when driving down the queens highway just makes me laugh seeing them in the UK the wheel on the otherside was taking the wee of of these folks not you mate, unless you use them on the road which im sure you don't :wink:
