bad tempered old fool...
i really am losing my patience for people nowadays, at the ripe old age of 22, stupid people who dither about and are hugely unorganised but expect you to be organised on their behalf. i have enough to do all day without sorting out everyone else and no, oddly enough i don't have the answer to every tiny pathetic pointless question you ask me about your pile of crap excuse for a car, the weather the economic downturn, cost of bread in the supermarket etc etc etc
Don't look shocked when i look blankly at you or i shrug my shoulders in disinterest or call you a muppet under my breath when you impatiently tap your feet and sigh because i can't find the answer to aforementioned idiotic question in a matter of seconds.
Argh. sorry im getting really peeved with the human race in general.
rant over!

Seriously, if your outlook on life in general is like this, in other words you cannot put your bad mood down to specific issues; or that you seem to find yourself constantly immersed in these issues, then you have a problem you need to deal with. Here's some suggestions to relax:
- make sure you get a good night's sleep. Don't drink caffeine after 6pm, definitely don't drink alcohol except occasionally (leads to poor quality sleep), make sure the room is cool (approx 19 deg C or less) and dark.
- If you can't get to sleep, don't worry about not getting to sleep, just use the time to relax. ie don't get up, turn the light on, read, watch TV, or make a drink, just remain awake in the bed, in the dark.
- Make sure you dedicate some time to yourself, as in: if people are stressing you out all the time, take yourself away from the situation. It might be as simple as taking a walk at lunchtime rather than going to the canteen or eating your sandwiches at your desk.
- Get a hobby, as in another hobby not necessarily cars. Something that will take your mind away from your job and makes you concentrate or use your mind, more. Computer games, internet, are poor choices. Low impact sports, puzzles, knitting, arts & crafts are better ones.
- Get a pet, eg dog. They are much simpler than people, don't harbour remorse or hide their feelings and provide excellent companionship. If you don't want extra burden, then consider a simple-to-keep pet such as a goldfish or hamster.

i live in an 8 year old house that has to be the coldest house in history- it doesnt retain heat so theres no worries there!lol.make sure the room is cool (approx 19 deg C or less) and dark.
im buggered if im walking anywhere round here amount of gippos there are lurking about- id be robbed and not even realise it, i sit in the canteen n read the paper or i smoke myself daft outside on a lunchtime.- Make sure you dedicate some time to yourself, as in: if people are stressing you out all the time, take yourself away from the situation. i do exercise DVDs to get my frustrations out (kick boxing and aeroburn aerobics)and spend a lot of time in the bath trying to "relax" on an evening, but not getting in til 6.45 and then having to cook tea, clean the house etc doesn't leave much "me" time.- Get a hobby, as in another hobby not necessarily cars. i live in a rented house so thats a no go and having had pet int he past they are no fun you spend more tim shouting at them for misbehaving or cleaing up their mess. hamsters bite and goldfish stink like rotten eggs when you clean em out!
thanks fr the advise but your psycho analysis whatever it is has failed! i have a crappy stressful job made worse by hugely unorganised people and im in the process of buying a house, well trying but the estate agents and the bank we are buying the house off are the biggest most useless waste of space in the entire world. my partner works away all week so i never hardly see him and my parents live in a different country, i live in a city where i know hardly anyone so dont hardly have a social life and i live in a really really really rough area- which i didnt know til i moved there! LUCKY ME!

Yep check this one too. My Tropical fish are very relaxing and if I need love then there's the cat.
So I should be totally chilled, relaxed and at home with the world and the people in it.
Why aren't I then?

If you keep up stressing at his rate you'll put yourself in an early grave.
Either that or maybe you need to take a leaf out the book of a dearly departed forum member - Fulltimejungalist may have talked out his chocolate starfish but at least he was never this stressed. Time for a herbal remedy

Be really polite, talk to them as if they're the nicest person ever and you're really enjoying yourself. Basically be all sweetness and light, but while you're talking replace the word "now" with "meow".
You can do it in a way that they won't be sure if it's their hearing, and it totally spins people out. If they're certain you're saying "meow", see how long you can keep doing it before they mention it.
Works for me
Saw it in this hideous film, was the only remotely funny thing that happened in it
