Any bikers on here

Just wondering, how many of teh fellow MK1 fanatics are also keen motorcyclists..

Is it Harley Cruisers, Streetfighting chops or full on sports for you


I love sports bikes, but did route 66 ona  harley last year and now like them too…

Count me in on the sports bikes. Last bike blue R1 nearly killed myself on that one ops:  

Best bike was Honda Blackbird 8)

Present Bike Honda CBR 600 (cause I'm getting old } Not even rode it for a year ops:

I hate harley's etc. I like scooters vespas and lambrettas.

But I would love a Suzuki Hayabusa, just watching the vids on youtube! WOW

and it is the fastest production bike to date.

I loved my old R1, was awesome, here's some of me on a roundabout havin fun.. Knee down style

sports bikes or street bike all the way dont like loads of chrome.
rf600 at the moment with a few tweaks

My dad had a buell which is basically a sports bike (unfaired though) with a Harley engine.. awesome fun when you're not sat on the back (back seat is this big |  | :evil: )

buell is the only bike i have ever ridden on a test ride that i took back with petrol. i didn't like it to high centre of gravity and the engine didn't pul right. personal prefrence though i like jap crap

well, a buell is the only bike ive ever been on, i love them for their unique-ness tbh.. although they're by no means a long distance bike (trip to santa pod and back (200 miles)) on a scouring pad for a seat is VERY uncomfortable 8O

I remember Jeremy Clarkson asking James Blunt on Top Gear "What car he drove"

Blunt replied " I don't i have a motorcycle"

Clarkson replied " I didn't no you were gay "

i started on lambrettas and vespas and they still are fantastic fun but it has to be sports bikes to give you that mad grin and 1000 yard stare 8O  my last one was a zx9r before that i had zx6r cbr600 ducati 750ss gsx600 katana and gsxr1100 slingshot to name a couple

Sportsbike every time, this is what i sold to buy my GTI, my 3rd Blade……

erm let me think. i may have been talking about riding bikes with a slight inuendo for people to enjoy and debate.

Lovin the fighter as well mate, i subscribed to streetfighter mag a few years back and never cancelled it so i have a read everynow n then, had a coupel as well, last one being teh Z1000, was ok till you got up to a ton then the lack of aerodynamics spoiled the fun..

whats that 2 wheeled car in the background tho??  :mrgreen:  :mrgreen:
