Both Both Both!!!!

After looking for last 7 months I've just picked up a 1987, 72K miles, 1 old lady owner, all old tax discs and MOTs, pristine body and hood, 1.8 Clipper. Its now in the garage next to the GTI, unfortunately the Caddy is now outside… :(

One for summer, one for play and one for work :D

Do like the soft tops, but when down bird dropping dodging comes to mind
Easier to clean off on a tintop

Cabriolet since I have one and as wiggly as the chassis is, it is fun to cruise in it.  I will say I really hate it when weather or repairs are bad.  But I really love it on the sunny days when it runs.

Having been in a square headlight GTI before during the glory days, I do respect the tin top as the original Mk1.

For me, the attraction of a cabriolet is nothing to do with posing, it is simply a matter of colour.

With the hood up, the world passes by in monochrome but with the hood down, it is glorious technicolour.
