lol I had a 1.2 nova merit as well - white K reg 3dr with blue stripe - how cool did I think I was!! Car cost me £1000 and was £1400 to insure! Got wrote off by a cavalier running up the back of me 6 month later, so went out and bought a red one, which I promptly rolled two weeks later :redfaced:
Stayed away from novas ever since - I think they are cursed! (and a pile of poo compared to mk1's!)

Passed november 2005, had a 1.2 clio which cost £1200 to insure. Within the first year i had 2 claims and 3 points, then in 2007 i bought a 53 plate Mk4 golf 1.4 and cost £1950 to insure.
Still have the golf which now cost me £500, kawaskai ninja which is also around £500 and the mk1 which is the slowest and lot cheaper than the other two but is highest on insurance at around £700
Insurance companies have there funny ways don't they.
