Engine @ gearbox restoration around Chesterfield area

100k mk1 1990 cab. Smoking on start up, crunch in second gear when cold. Looking for a rebuild of them both, would love to drop the car off, and collect her with the engine bay looking and running factory. I'm located around j30 on the M1.
Any trusted recommendations localish??
