If its the latter I would have thought you could just stick it back on no problems, others can you not use the one from your other speedo?

Since my first post, I learned that they just push on so decided to swap the needle with the rev counter as I bought the second set to be butchered for parts anyway. However, I managed to pop off the needle from the rev counter and have that ready, but the speedo one just won't come off! I've tried levering it etc and it just won't budge! I'm in danger of damaging the speedo getting it off!
