Weber Air Filter Adaptor 36tlp to 1500 manual

Hello

I have just got my gruby mits on a NOS Weber 36tlp. My car is a GX so its 1.5 manual, according to the distructions with the carb I need an adaptor plate to fit the wire clamp thing for the standard air box, which i would like to retain. I understand some people dont use these as they might prefere the KN filiter, so dose anyone out there have a one that they could part with or offer any solutions?
