Wanted DX code engine

Hi there,

I'm after a complete or near complete 1800 DX engine for a 1983 Golf cabriolet to rebuild, in or as close to Essex as possible.

No rubbish please.

 

I'm just having a dx rebuilt. .without belts on..since was gonna store it. For my projects. Has gearbox also. I'm not sure of total cost of rebuild but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be more than I wanted to pay. But such is life. If you want to know price with box ill get it back with belts or without. And see about palletising it for you 

I'm after a good base engine for me to rebuild myself. Thanks anyway.

Hello I've got a 1.8 dx code clipper engine, carb head, it came from a relatively low mileage car £150 if you're interested

Unfortunately I'm after an Injection version. I didn't know the DX was also available with a carb.
