mk1 gti wanted

Hi, i'm looking to swap my 1990 mk2 gti 3dr big bumper 16v model PAS EM CL  in met black.

the car is very original and straight and good in the suspect areas where they rust, has immaculate rainbow trim, no roof lining sag, has 123091 on the clock

currently motd but no tax, sorned.  had brand new rear calipers fitted, original car unmodified, bbs ra's with very good tyres.

iv'e owned mk1's in the past and would like another, ideally a car in an original colour, not after a full resto thats rusty underneath ie welding, so a car thats been done and well repaired, or just a mk1 thats perfect where they are prone
for rot, i'm quite happy to take something on that needs a paint job with good panels and straight, also mechanically sound. with no sunroof or a factory fitted only.

I'm in north scotland inverness area which  i know could be a problem and i'm not wanting to travel too far for a deal so it narrows the search down somewhat, too costly!

so helious blue owners out there please talk yourself into not finishing your project, i can live with a sunroof in that case.
