Description:
1983 MK1 Tintop GTi, mostly standard - Jetex SS exhaust (only done 3k miles) and new rear lights.
Mars2 red with tilt sun roof. New pattern front wings fitted and sprayed - need's a flat and polish.
Interior in good condition - grey as car was originally white as can be seen in the engine bay and under the carpet. Engine good, runs and pulls fine, but needs a service, 58500 on the clocks, 101k on the original clocks – assume new (zero’d) clocks where fitted but not 100% sure, gear box fine, new fuel pump - done 3k miles, and tank cleaned. Injectors cleaned and new seals.
Comes with new pattern rear valance and rear arch corner repair panels, all arch spats, 4 original tarantula wheels with good tyres, steel spare and 4 x BBS wheels also with good tyres.

 


Rear of the car needs some work - MOT failed on:-
[6.1.C.1] - Rear valance has a sharp edge caused by corrosion

[5.2.6] - offside rear seatbelt anchorage prescribed area is inadequately repaired - hold and not continuous. - to think I paid for this sill repair.

Advisories:-
Rear struts have slight movement
Rear chassis heavily corroded but not near to any component mounts.

I just don't have the time to spend properly restoring her, so I need to let her go. Would make a good project for someone with a welder and time.
