Description:I am reluctantly listing my classic mk1 Golf GTI Cabriolet

I have had it for 3 years, and used it only on dry days. Before I purchased it, it was 'restored' by the previous owner.

From what I can see the car is generally rust free (see below on boot lid).  The sills are solid, generally clean all round.



It is all original specification - with no cut outs or modifications.

In the time I have had it I have:
Replaced the water pump
Replace the thermostat
Replaced the front top mounts
General servicing +plugs
replaced a few tyres
replaced gearbox oil

The car is in good condition for the age, it is not concours, but it is a solid car that has been undersealed.

Areas of improvement:
The interior is worn on the bolster (stitched repair) and a few other wear places
The hood has a tear near the left hinge - this has not impacted my enjoyment of the car
the Boot lid has a rusted bottom seam, but there is a rust free boot lid included
There were some advisories in the last MOT, but nothing significant.

I have done limited mileage in the car and have really enjoyed it, but family commitments mean I need to make room……
