I really don't want to sell this car and really did think it would be my VW for life but I just cant afford to keep 5 cars on the road so my tax exempt cars stay and sadly the golf goes. She is a 1990 Clipper Cabriolet. 114,000 miles on the clock. White. Manual.I ditched the pierburg and fitted a brand new single webber with K&N filter which transformed the car and it is awesome!!. Also has a brand new exhaust front to back and downpipe.New Stereo and speakers (correct size to fit without alterations).Interior is perfect with no tears.Wearing a lovely set of BBS replicas split rims with Bridgestone Potenza stretched tyres.Had a full service, cambelt, tensioner, plugs, cap, rotor arm, rocker gasket, oil and filter less than 500 miles ago mid last year.MOT til may 15 with no advisories.Comprehensive file of history. 5 owners (invoices for the purchases)All original handbooks, completed service book and sales brochure.I have the original Clipper Steels with tyres complete with beauty rings and centre caps plus a whole extra set of rings and caps.Tonneau cover for soft top.german style plates and original plates provided. The car would benefit from a new hood but the current one is water tight. I only drive this car in the sun so the hood is irrelevant to me.Being 25 years old it does have a few little scrapes on the front bumper. A small number of chips which have been touched in.There is a blemish to the front of the drivers side rear arch (1 inch in size) which is pretty common. It has got no worse in my ownership. I guess I would get this done one day if I was keeping it and didn't have so many other cars.I would like £3000 for her. Located in Brighton, East Sussex.I know I will regret letting this beauty go but I need to get my priorities right!
