 I'm not sure where to start with this one,My friend put this car back on the road after being sat unloved for a quite a while. It had a full respray a few years ago along with the usual running gear overhaul, new hood, all new plastics on the outside including front and rear bumper splats and GL splitter. New bright work has rare glass with number plate stamped on not usually seen on MK1's. He then sold it to someone we mutually know who unfortunately could not keep the car due to personal circumstances this is where I came in and bought it with the intention of either a ABF or VR engine swap, but I have no time as I'm currently in between moving house and full time work so this one must go. When I first got the car I gave it a full service including:  

• Spark plugs Leads Oil Oil filter Fuel filter Rotor arm Dizzy cap Auto box fluid (always forgotten about)Full coolant change Thermostat

 I have also fitted three very nice TIM gauges (12V oil pressure and vacuum performance)  The car has full M.O.T until 22/11/16  The car runs and drives perfectly, with all gears working on the auto gearbox. I had to drive daily this car while my MK3 was off the road a few weeks back and was doing a 30 mile round trip. No problems at all, the car is a perfect summer cruiser sits at 70/80MPH all day at around 3000rpm.  The car is absolutely solid underneath, I am a welder by trade so can confirm this is no rot box MK1. The interior is clean considering it's over 30 years old with only a cigarette burn in drivers seat and a crack on one of the door plastics. The only other thing is that the drivers seat does not flip forward but the passengers side does. Slight bit of surface rust coming through on the drivers wing and passenger rear arch, I did a chassis notch on it for my friend so you can run the car super low. I have plenty more pics of the car on my phone and can Whatsapp them over if necessary. It's sat on BBS reps 15 inch 7j all round with recent tires, I also have receipts for tires and it has TA Technics coil-overs. The car is kept in a garage so keep this in mind if you want to come and view it.
