Reluctantly I am thinking it's time for my Hellios blue metallic Cabby to go which is very sad!
I have owned the car for 3 years and in that time I have only covered around 1,000 miles in it, just taking out on sunny days.
The car was literally just taxed for six months of the summer and then SORN through the winter.
I’m simply just not getting the time to drive her which saddens me and I could do with the space back in the garage.
I have loved owning and driving the car and as you all know, these cars turns heads (especially with the top down) wherever they go.
The car is in good overall condition and straight, drives lovely and engine is strong and doesn’t miss a beat.
It has a few scratches, small dents (which I aim to have a go at having recently doing a Paint-less dent removal course) and a few small patches of surface rust/stone chips.
Has a brand new MOT just this week, only failing on one of the rear flexible break hoses which I replaced.
About a year ago (300 miles) I fitted gas shocks all round and Eibach 30mm lowering sports springs.
Poly steering bushes, battery and oil sump also replaced recently.
Tires are all pretty new also.
Had a new Vinyl roof just before I bought it.
Crystal rear lights but I still have the originals which will be supplied with the car.
I also have a de-badged front grill and clear headlights to go with the car.
Roof cover.
Kenwood head unit.
Has the obligatory driver’s seat ware and the water temperature gauge has never worked since I owned it, despite replacing the switches/sensors.
Always been kept in the garage since I have owned it. Still quite a few Cabriolets about but not many of them are GTI's!
