83 lhasa green tin top

This really is a stunning example of a mk1 golf gti. I put it through mot today at a cost of £170 for 3 tyres and labour for some minor things like handbrake adjustment and a cv boot carried out by Ross Irvine. It has 5.5 months tax. It starts and drives absolutely superb. The paintwork is only let down by the two gutters at the rear where I removed a zender spoiler which was on with tigerseal and it took the paint with it :-( if not for that the paintwork would be 9/10 but its a strong 8/10. There are some small but subtle modifications…. the standard gti seats have been re covered in hard wearing black vinyl and look lovely. Last month I had a 4 branch TA Technix stainless steel manifold fitted with a full custom 2" stainless ststem fitted by ETS in Derby with a lifetime warranty. They just copied the original even down to the back box. It also has a full closure toad alarm with central locking. Other than that it is completely standard. All exterior trim is brand new…bumpers, arch spats, badges, lights, grille trim etc. No expense has been spared to make it look this original and clean. I have spent a lot of time with this car, a lot more than I should have trying to make the perfect mk1 and I think I got pretty close. The car is based in south normanton in Derbyshire.
