SSR Mesh 14" for me. Anyone got photos of that silver series one that was in Golf+ or performance VW a few years back? Looked perfect. Cant find photos of it now. I used to have a set but sold them when I was bit short of cash…. regret it now.

Tend to think that it is hard to see past 15" BBS RAs for looks/ practicality / value for money although I prefer the all-silver versions.

Other choice would be the 15" Ronal R8s that I originally saw years ago on a BRM Black Mk1 in a popular video of the time and various mag articles and which I just happen to have on my Campaign

Ron, (I hope) :0)
That's how I would like to see my standard Sportline BBS wheels look but the cost over here is not real (600-800 Euros) for the paint and chrome.
I've just got a thing about gold/chrome and on my white Cabrio, just perfect but I'm soon to be an old fart (50 on Thursday)!
(pee take time)

Can't justify the cost, I can by another golf MK1 for that but they do look great in my eyes!

Yeah it does look awesome. Maybe you could try and paint/polish yourself? I've done it in the past, not that hard really just takes time.

BBS style gold and polished lip always looks lovely!

Excuse the temporary front  bumper. These are Lotus Eclat 14x7. Stunning wheels in my eyes. I no longer have them as I didn't like the offset and the use of hefty adaptors.
