URGENT - How many campaigns left on the road in UK?

There's just no reliable way of tracking them (see post above).
The letter from Dano is the best indication of what was built for the UK but that's it.
I was selling them and they were like chickens teeth to get hold of, I mentioned this in other posts.
In short.
If a dealer wanted to order just one, they would be forced to take 1, 2 or even 3 other pieces of stock that were not selling well (not only Golf) and therefore hard to shift!
It's a bit like the answer to "Life, the universe and everything? "
Well that's the way I see it and let the market decide the value.
One thing is for sure, the value of our cars, along with many others will not go down.
Super cars, well we've all seen how they can seriously crash over the last 30 years!
But we're not in it for the money, are we?

In 2002 an audi s4 was somthing like $120000 and at that time it was a production super car in its own right .
And now as my friend has one here in west oz , its only worth $10000 to $15000 ..
But seeing our cars having a strong market value for a original gti being more than what they were originally bought for is a great thing
But there will always be that debate …..

Had the viewers here only from the uk ! and was told it was one of the best original examples he has seen . Sold for $13000 aus dollers …

Good luck with this just not sure how much you can learn from it.
60% of the UK population that has Internet use Facebook at least once per month.
76% of the UK population access the Internet on a daily basis. (big NUMBER that)

Paul to even roughly calculate the odds of your post from 100's of millions of Facebook posts, finding its way through billions of topics to those who even use Facebook let alone all Campaign owners but who knows for sure. Please let us know how you get on with finding the real ones from those and keep us updated!

Same here, No Facebook but have a Lhasa Green one, needs a lot of work so concentrating on MK1 Van build for now.
Campaign restoration will start next year.
