Twin 40's on an 8v gti

Just got a complete set up

Any pros and cons? 
Is fuel economy really that bad with twin 40's?

Nope it's fine

Biggest problem is that you just love to here the noise so you tend to accelerate, slow down then drop a cog and accelerate again!!
