A brief background for you, Early-1800 :

Bought as my first car in 2006 with just  under 60k on the clock. I didn't have my driving test booked until a couple of months later so my Dad drove it around and cleaned it up/carried out some servicing and maintenance. It then served me well every day to school and back, and then to university. In 2008 there wasn't one day of the year in which it wasn't used and it never left me stranded in all that time.

I used it right up until the third year of uni, when I got a mk2 Golf 16v, and Dad kept it running as a reserve car. It was up to 108,000 by this point.

Now it's mine again and is garaged for the first time since we've owned it. I use it at the weekends when I can and will get it involved in this year's VW show season. Other than that it gets a clean now and then and some new DIY parts where needed.
