Well at least it's a little bit different to help us get through the winter blues. Especially when most of us can't work on or drive our cars!
It's a laugh with a hint of education thrown in. It's good to price one without having to part with the real cash.  

Mentioned it before but I've been saving two blinders for the Christmas period.
Blinders for completely different reasons, a red one which will be posted on the 22nd of December and a white one on the 28th.
I saw the two cars back when we started and I've finding hard to hold them back but I'm nearly there.

I'm like a kid, can't wait for Christmas!

OK, my guess on this on is going to be huge! The reason for this is I have seen an elephants scrotum and they are HUGE! I think the owner will be asking €11500

Not to late to have a go at 'Guess the Asking Price' of this weeks car No.8.

Depending on the gravity of tonight's hangover the results should be posted up mid morning tomorrow and the new car on Sunday.

But the Wife away for the Weekend , and the Internationally famous "weihnachtsmarkt" (Christmas Market) for want off a better expression starts tonight in my Town. Which is 40 feet from my Apartment!

It requires you to drink (in fact it's mandatory) large amounts of hot, sweet booze.
Whilst standing outside around a bunch of wooden huts and discovering parts of your body that do actually freeze but you didn't know the existed!   

The good news is that it only is on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 4:00pm - 12:00am until Christmas!  
Wish both me and my liver all the best as one does have to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the 'Brits' are no wimps!

When it comes to this format of drinking the Austrians are definitely no slouches either!!!    

Update.

Been standing there for two hours drinking that hot Schnapps/Petrol or whatever they claim it to be and it's really not so cold now.
Mind you, if anyone believes that look over your shoulder, Elvis is behind you!  

So the up shot of this is that the results will be posted on time tomorrow but I can't be certain about Sunday, well not just yet.  

Well it looks like I've caught a lot of you out on this one but not all of you.  

The 'Asking Price' for this VW Golf GLS 3dr 1981 in white, Mileage 42,043Km's or 26,124 Miles was only € 4,995,- or £4,145.- in your coinage!
Now I think it's worth every Cent or Penny. And being the cheeky bloke that I am, I'd go there with 4K in one back pocket and another 1K in the other.
After a chat I'd ask what he would take right now for cash in hand, wait for his answer and respond accordingly but I would be going home as the new proud owner of this little gem!  



So onto the results.
1st Place ' smudger' with € 5,200,-  
2nd Place 'Shughy' with € 5,550,-  
3rd Place 'ant5' with € 6,000,-  

So there you have it.
Now if we were to take an average of the prices put forward we have the following result:
€7,427,- or £6,165,- compared to the asking price of € 4,995,- or £4,145.-
I'd of made a tidy packet on that deal (two Grand clear)!  

So there you have it and we'll have to wait for 'Fathammer' to work his magic with the league table.
But with the top two just treading water this week it must be getting tighter and the big mover of the week looks like it will be 'Shughy' but lets wait and see.  
Also watch out for 'ant5' not been the Bride yet but often the 2nd Bridesmaid!

I reckon you could be a good outside bet for the title this season, you dark horse you!

miles off again   i was certain this car would be more than that!!

Guess most of us went over the price...

Just a few of you need a bit of a confidence builder it seems so here we go with car No.9  

VW Golf 3dr 1.6 Diesel.
Engine runs and runs. … KM on the odometer shows yes 100's of thousands!
Of course after almost 30 years the car has rust over the (rear wheel arches)
Note. Not sure of the age of this one, just a small detail the seller forgot to mention!  
Renewed brakes are spring legs (attached) has rusted
The vehicle has now been almost a year off the road.
The Stickers has expired (MOT).








So that's it, you now know as much as I do, so what's the 'Asking Price'?  
This should improve our averages nicely!  

The next 5 Members who ask to play will automatically be part of the 'Premier League Table' which runs till the end of March 2014.
You don't have to play every week but you will remain in the League for the season as it's our inaugural one.
