NEED HELP

Need help please .
Have a 1980 series 1 gti which had a janspeed turbo conversion done 35 years ago.
Took it to edition 38 a couple of weeks ago and it was fine , Then today i got it out of the garage and took it for a short spin and noticed a small amount of smoke coming from under the bonnet . opened the bonnet and behind where the turbo is there was a bit of smoke and it smelt a bit like burning oil .
Ive been toying with the idea of taking the turbo off for a few years and putting it back to standard and now this has made my mind up . can anyone recommend a garage or mechanic to do this for me please (near enfield north london would be good)
