Golf Gti on Car SOS next week

Saw this advertised on up and coming programmes on my Virgin TV planner. Believe it to be a MK1. It's on Car SOS National Geographic Channel with Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townsend. Don't forget to look out for the programme I think it's on 23/04/15

Excellent wondered when they were going to release it,  the producers came to our stand at the NEC Classic show and were in the middle of filming it.

Noticed on this weeks episode a MK1 Scirocco being restored in the corner of the workshop.

Chris's MK1 Gordonthegolfer features in the programme too

…actually I lie, I think his is in For the Love of Cars! lol. Ooops!!    

Cool. It's nice to see them on the TV.

Why two different cars?  The ones by the aircraft with the A Reg is a Campaign - wonder if this was a car they just look out for a drive like they often do? Is that someone's car on here?

Had a look for this on the sky planner last night. Said next week's programme is about an E Type

The E type is a repeat already been shown, look again for other episodes its there being shown a few times next week. Tim Shaw is a Gti nut so it says. 

Nice one (Not so nice trousers!! lol)  

They are crazy pink slacks.

Watched it last night - wow what a stunner!!

That one with the CAR SOS number plate looks exactly like mine when i put the standard wheels back on!

I can't wait to see this episode. I have watched all the car SOS episodes but it's added spice when it's the car I am currently restoring

Same here just having finished mine. Not going to do any harm to the value of mk1 Golfs and the desirability of owning one

It's on at 8pm tonight. I have the channel on ready

Made a nice job apart from some green cables under the bonnet and the finishing touch that nearly everyone misses - the black stripe on the tailgate.
