Nice car, do you have any more pics?
Have you restored it or did you buy it like that? It's a stunner!

…….I've owned her since 1982..she was in use until 2001 then sat in my garage for 16 years. My son would not let me sell her so I had her restored by Deutsche Doktors in Stoke. Just a joy to drive now.

Beautiful looking Mk1 you have there, you must be very proud to own one looking as good as yours does! 😉 👍🏼

FYI philtop0
I recommend you PT our former Chairman Dano for more details on the company 'DD' in reference to this clubs position.
I just can't go into more detail about the situation on a public forum. 😉

Car looks great, I bet you are enjoying it, one thing I noticed in your pictures is that a rear strut mount used as the rubber bush on the clutch cable?
New bushes are avaible for not much money, you will need to re adjust the clutch cable if fitting the right bush, it’s a simple job of loosening a locking nut and screwing the cable out.

You seem to have this fitted at the end of the clutch cable?.

Great spot Backinblack. Thank You. I have a list of snags to iron out (all of them small), but I suppose at 37 years old there is always going to be. That one is now added. I thought it looked different, but then again what do I know it was 16 years since i looked under the bonnet ;)
