What is this ? removed from 20vT

hi all, i am stripping the parts that i dont require from my 20v T lump ready for the transplant. can somebody please tell me what this is below ?
it was hanging over the engine when i collected it but i cant for the life remember what it is and hopefully not needed!??

It's the secondary air pump, it's used to pump hot air from the engine into the exhaust system to help warm the cat up on startup. It's not needed, but will need to be blanked off and coded out of the ecu.

yeh im wanting to gather the list of exactly everything that i can remove from the engine to make it as smooth as possible then get it all coded out!

In that case you will also want to look into the N249 delete and Charcoal Cannister delete as well. Gets rid of lost of pipe work to prevent potential boost leaks.
