vw advert... help me find it before I go nuts

Ok guys an girls… ive been on the hunt for this old vw advert commercial from a few years back. But no luck now im starting to think im goin nuts that maybe it never existed lol

anyways it started with a mk1 gti in the 80s then when the camera went back to the car it was a mk2. Then a mk3 etc then the latest golf drove off.. think it was a mk5 advert or something


anyone remember it… please dont say im goin nuts (old age is kickin in tho)

You're perfectly sane… I remember it also.

I can't track down the commercial on the inter-web but I know for a fact there was a feature on the making of the advert included in this supplement published by 'Autocar', if you can locate that instead…

Also found this one when I was looking, not the one you were after but  when you get to the ending I can't beleive it could be an official ad though!
