We need a VW Golf MkI convertible for a magazine photoshoot this coming Wednesday morning. Can anyone help?

You're right - apologies, I wrote that in haste. Bad proof-reading skills there, and well-spotted.

So, yes, we need a car for Wednesday 10th June. I've now amended that in the original post.

I'm afraid I wasn't actually on the photoshoot - merely just setting it up. But I'm sure Dan will be able to post some once the piece has been published.
