A t25 has come up for sale locally at a bargain price. I cant afford a Mk1 and a T25 so im toying with the idea of selling the mk1…. ive wanted a T25 for ages and this one is perfect and right on my doorstep, but i cant bring myself to sell the Series 1!! GGrrrr what should i do??

Im not even sure if a T25 will fit on out drive, neighbour has a T4 they have to be the the same size if not bigger??

If its what you want, then go for it, hard decision tho……( have a buy back clause on the Golf…that the new owner has to sell it back to you if you don't like the T25)….

You'll regret selling the S1 and what would you do without the MK1OC ?

The t25 will be more money too run, more difficult to park, slower, handle poorer and just not as good all round as the mk1.
Wait a few years until you can have both

come on, you know it makes sense

Do it once and do it right! ok, we've identified the problem, lets not make it worse by guessing……… Identifying the sympton is not the same as understanding the cause :)

After seeing your txt earlier if there is a way you can do it then get a S2 Mk1 as a daily then yes, if not no, as I think it maybe too soon since you got the S1 and you will miss it / not having a golf too much

As someone has said above it you can hold out another year or two and save up to get a T25 as well then happy days :-)

So sorry, I don't usually vote on anything but I did this time. At the end of the day it's what you want! Don't be stuck with something and then think what if?
I restored a ford anglia which I put a rover v8 in, I loved it! But it wasn't a mk1 gti.
So I sold it and bought a gti!
Go with ya heart kid!! Only live once!
