Hi Again.... Has anyone modified the drivers seat to add more leg room. Love to know if it is possible.

This would involve cutting the base and rebuilding the mounts so that the whole unit sat further back. Don't recall anyone ever saing they have done this though.
I'm 6'4" and I didn't have a problem with the seats as far back as they would go - you must be a giant…
If you change the seat for something non standard, then you are in the "make your own mounts" territory anyway, and can make them to suit.

yarp, scirocco and corrado sit lower.
also mk2/2f polo as well, plus if its a post-84 cabrio you have the cabrio backrest and base fabrics swap right over to the polo driver side frame to keep it all lookin original
