Ha, nice one! I always loved oak green on Mk2s. I bet that's the only Mk1 GTI in that colour in this country.

Saw a GTI in oak green for first time, and didn't think it was an original mk1 colour, but the owner was certain it was.

It seems the car in question wasn't originally Oak Green after all!
It was Lhasa Green originally and then resprayed Oak Green a few years ago.

Not the only one in the UK , I'm planning on buying a LHD Mk1 GTI that's on the IOM that's Oak green …
