New Car Issues

update I didn't want to say anything as I was getting very up tight  with the dealer and VW over the Golf. After the car was in the dealers for 3 weeks trying to get the Golf sorted out, I was informed to collect it via VW as nothing could be done as the faults were not occuring.

Horror the Golf was damaged on collecting the front bumper was damaged with paint scraped and it appeared the car had been washed with an old rag with scratches all over the car. this was pointed out to the manager who hit the roof.

Long story short is the Golf is getting replace for a new one this week after waiting nearly 4 months.

Under the circumstances they had to give you a new one to the same spec or better!     

Well I picked up my New Golf GTI today.  I was informed prior to collection that the service plan I got with old one wouldn't be transfered as that stays with the vehicle, I phone VW direct to confirm this and after speaking with customers services and VW finance no record was found of the purchase of a 3 year service plan.

I put this to the dealer who stated it would've of be covered by them, so what would have happen If I used another dealer for the service or I moved away from the area.

Anyone bought a service plan I'd check direct with manufacture to make sure the dealer has  informed them or keeping the money in house and hoping that you keep using there dealership

The Golf is good no issues on the way home.
