Mk1 golf gti help

Hi guys looking at buying mk1 gti and would just like to make sure its what it says it is,

car has a factory fitted sunroof …seller says its a factory fiited  …any way to check ?

I have tried vin decoder but comes back as mk1 golf 2011  another site came back as golf R !!

any way of checking the spec please

If it's a factory fitted sunroof it will be sliding steel type. If it's glass it's aftermarket even though it may have been dealer-fit.
What year's the car out of interest? Any pics?

Btw if it does have a sliding steel sunroof check carefully for rot in the sunroof tray area

Yes it dose look factory.like old corrado style ..so probably all good.

It's been poorly painted ..but I can fix that ..floors.doors all solid etc
