Kamei also did a very tasty rear roof spoiler for the MKI, similar in style to the later MKII's… so not all bad!

Controversial!
A lot of the Zender gear seems to be an acquired taste, but those interiors are right up my street! They look like a lot of the stuff coming out of Plush..

Have to agree some of their stuff is a bit suspect (But it was the 80's, so forgiven) and that's coming from a true fan, but equally they produced some incredibly beautiful and iconic items. You could never accuse Zender of being dull, even it is a case of you either loving or hating them.BIGNICKC said
I've got both a Kamei scoop and Zender spoiler.

You need to be careful, once you've one piece it's only a matter of time before you're hooked.

Look amazing Chris... You must be well pleased!
Is the 'Typ-Nr.' 8.271 like we thought?
Health to enjoy.
Oops, I was looking at the rear of the spokes and not the inside edge of the rim, yes you are correct about the number.
You certainly know your zender!

Wouldn't say they're particularly rare, just some spec's. seem to be more sought after than others.
Your biggest issue will be condition… The original finish was painted / diamond cut / lacquer and just doesn't stand the test of time. Refurbishment is virtually guaranteed to be needed with the fake bolts having to come out to do it properly. They're cemented in and destroyed in the process
Becoming a bit of a cliché but eBay.de is a good starting point. The majority of sellers have excellent spoken / written English and are prepared to post outside Germany despite what their auctions state. Postage may not be a major hurdle… I've had a few sets of wheels come in by DHL from Europe for less than it costs to have them freighted to NI from Mainland UK. On a negative note very few German eBayers are keen on Paypal, insisting instead on bank transfers. Apart from the small additional cost to you there's also a risk factor should things not go to plan.
I've a few spec. sheets I'll scan and post up if you're interested…

Next time you're on ebay.de and the seller doesn't take paypal use transferwise, i used it on my last purchase and was in their account quicker than the banks could do for a lot less and from the comfort of my bed.. i will never use banks ever again..
Never heard of transferwise, that's a result!!I hate paying the bank charges. I have bought a couple of sets of wheels from germany never had any problems both times I had to do a bank transfer.
