What have you got?

That is nice but I want a lift that can support weight even if I have to Jack my house.

One way to do it.

LOLLOLOLOL :)

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

I've got the cj autos 3 in 1 tilter.

My garage is only 2.5m's in height so would like a lift but just not going to happen.

Used it on my mini and will on my mk1 once the garage extension is complete, very happy with it and heavy duty. Weighs 100kg but has wheels to role it out.

Ooh! I fancy one of those, further enquiries will be made.

Had a friend that lived in a flood plain, well the river after  50 year historic rain flooded, and well after repairing the damage, to his Ranch style (one floor slab house) and finding a 20lb catfish in his bath tub.  He hired a company, and jacked his whole house up 12 feet, and installed a 10 foot tall foundation under it.  A 2 car Garage, and all the electrical sockets were 8foot above the floor…So he would never have to go through that flooding again.

I did look at these but I was concerned as to the height when its in its flat position.
Is it low enough to slide under a mk1 to start with?

It's currently living under my mk1 and the car is sitting quite low. If you were really low they sell some tiny lead on ramps that give you further clearance.

They do look pretty good but I'm sure the import duty and tax would make the price so high you'd be better off with a 2 post lift
