Is this a mk1 grill maybe zender

i have looked at tones of google pics but most are on cars and all look the same not sure if its for a mk1

from what i can tell is its a aftermarket copy of a zender or alike grill. It's hard to find out as all the grills have a slight difference the mk1 an 2 even a old rocko looks the same on google was hoping someone can identify it

Definitely an odd one… At first glance it looks like one made by a German company called 'Taifun'.

It's near identical, even down to the way the lights are held in place on the grille using bolts, but that one had five horizontal slats not six.

The Zender version does have six slats like yours, but the lights are attached in a completely different way using seperate buckets and aren't part of the grille itself.

There's an Italian outfit called 'Lester' who years ago copied bodykit bits from other companies including various Zender items, perhaps it's one of theirs?

 

I think I've seen it before. Made by a company called Supermegafugly.    Please don't fit it.

lol itsl marmite  i also have a rga front lower spoiler to go with it. I loved the westmooreland look  so with that grill and lower bumper you get that westy look. But don't worry i have 3 diffrent grills so will be changing the look time to time. So then do we think its for the mk1 golf ? Im going to the work shop on weekend so will line it up
