Help finding out info about my golf

Although it won't satisfy DVLA, I have noticed that most of the plastic components on the car (e.g. heater matrix access cover, rain tray, etc) have the month and year of production stamped on them. It looks like parts turnover at the factory was quite regular as all the dates I have seen on mine are within a month or two of the build date of my car.
