Campaign question

Without waking up the Campaign Police, can anyone tell me if this chassis number suggests it is or not 17EW072200, its Helios Blue registered 1/11/1983 ??

I know very little about this but info given suggests campaign I believe.

Yes on each count, the EW Chassis number, Helios Blue , registration date (although that could be a non Campaign reg date possibly, but by then most were by then.

if it's got the sticker inside the boot with the option codes or still inside the original handbook then look for S707, but to be honest if not a Campaign it would have to be a special order personal import -highly unlikely in my opinion.

Thanx guys, it has the 707 and 750 codes so looks to be confirmed, just no leather steering wheel or gear knob

Gear knob wasn't leather, just standard plastic Golf ball with 5 speed shift pattern.
