Bought another Campaign today

Saw this Campaign just before Xmas and had to buy it. The car is exceptionally clean and has every single piece of documentation from new including all MOTs and bills. It even has a second service book to carry on the VW service history. Only four owners from new.

Saw it on the KGF website and it looks a peach 😊👍

Did you get a look at their white GTI when you were there as well ?

Yes that was the car I went to look at first of all. It was a real clean, honest car and all very original. A bit of work needed here and there but nothing too drastic. If I hadn't have fallen in love with the Campaign I would've bought it. They told me they have now sold it. I was gutted that I missed out on their red Campaign they had for sale earlier in the year that looked excellent.

I remember seeing this as well, thought the price was really good if as described, which now sounds like it was.

Has it been resprayed at anytime as the write up said minimal stone chips, or is the paint original as well?

Which colour for you next then?

It's a total original car that's been pampered from new. It was amazing to see the paperwork with the car,
it was enough to fill two box files. The MOTs were all mint like they had just been written out and all the way back to 1986. 

I would love a Mars Red Campaign although I had a 1979 red four speed back in 1980.
Already had a white campaign brand new when I was 23 in 1983. My Lhasa green one won GTi International concours at Crowthorne in 1993. Never seen an Atlas Grey one which would also be on my list if I could find one lol!!'
