Anyone know of this car?

I'm intrigued by the inlet manifold, is this a genuine Porsche manifold or has it just been etched with that text? Also more pics of this car would be great. It's from the MIVW event in Holland

Sorry cannot help but don't really understand why put Porsche on a vw? especially when I don't believe that is what powers it, (don't understand the door handles either)

Hmm… maybe a 20v conversion but using just the inlet section of an S2/RS2, could this be like the Scirocco 16v manifiold conversion, useful because it puts the pipework on the passenger side of the bay?

Abfmk1 - I agree with you when it comes to having completely unrelated parts on a MK1 but if this is an Audi engine then maybe it's even closer to the bloodline than a VW engine as it was Audi engineers and their fuel injected engine that birthed the GTI (I think!) - bit of post-rationalising there but works for me

So this looks very like an Audi RS2 manifold/ plenum chamber (?) but the text is the other way round on the audi ones and doesn't seem to match this one. Anyone have details for this car or maybe a build thread? Really would love to know what the spec is on this.
