2.8 v6 Bora Engine will it fit?

Am gathering bits while im on the look out for a mk1 base car and have been offered a 2.8 v6 engine,loom and all ancillary bits off a bora for free my mate was going to use it in his mk2 conversion but decided against it and has gone down the 225 1.8 turbo route instead would it fit in a mk1 or not and if so how much work would it be?

It can be done I think, but with a lot of work AND more importantly, the weight of that thing at the front of the car would make handling very tricky, if not dangerous. ( unless you're the Stig, of course. )

Agree about it being too heavy but its been done more than once and I think a kits actually available to facilitate the fitting.

yah look at VR6 -> MK1 threads its the same job. wiring wise basically the same as fitting a VR6 to a mk1 just different. basically for wiring guides look at 20v oem DBW -> mk1 threads as all mk4 ecu looms basically the same regardless of what engine

there one round the conner from where i ive with a v6 engine in it looks awsome theres also a v5 ne one ebay with the engine is not that much small so if u have the time go for it
