Wow she is nice! Richy you're a genius 'cause that is what I will do. I've agreed to buy a GTi that has a mint white interior. Will just wait for a mint Clipper and swap everything over! Cheers for the tip.

sounds like a plan then put clipper interior into GTI and sell it :-)

keep the clipper with interior from your GTI in it

you could buy a white GTI cabby as well is dosnt have to be a clipper :-)

i know you have your heart set on that certain interior and i get that, but would a very nice white leather like this one coming for sale soon not tempt ya

I had the other one in 1992. I am THAT old It's a mid-life sentimental think and modern cars leave me cold so … has to be the same spec
There is something about the Clippers to me. Love them.

over price just in my personal opinion but its fairly low mileage, white and sounds solid , you might wana check it out and make and offer :-)

After all that low mileage talk I bought a 140K mile one with FSH. She has only done 12K in the last 10 years. She doesn't drive as nice as my old 37K mile Clipper so … why might that be and how long do these engines last? Two wheel bearings need replacing so that will effect smoothness wont it.

I have that interior you were after in my loft but as you said it gets dirty quick and my driver seat bolster needs repairing :-)

It's a doddle to clean with Simoniz upholstery foam. I reckon you should get it down from the loft

the all white triple was a limited edition car produced in 1986,they did 3 types…blue,black and white.
in 1989 in the onsabrook factory they made a further 104 gti clipper all whites as they had seats/interiors left over.very rare to find a decent one if one at all…

Just an update to say that I am now back looking for a perfect low mileage all white big bumpered GTi Cabriolet.
Max 30K miles.
Must have completely original paint (stone chip touch ups okay).
Must have a documented FSH.
Must have the white lasky fabric interior.

I will pay top money for the right car. I did find a 46K one which I bought but have discovered it has had a new wing and the perfectionist in me can't live with that  :? Will put it (and another) on Ebay in the summer…

That's a beaut that you have there! I did find two and bought them both but I want one that is 100% original i.e. no new paint etc. They are out there. I'll just have to wait …

The 6K one I was interested in that was £4500 is now £8995. Crazy dude.
