This car is my baby, I am selling it due to my career and needing a more suitable car for work and using as a work vehicle, a MK1 golf is not classes as suitable for transporting children! haha.
Im reluctant to sell but to progress In my career I need to.
So the car… He is a solid car all round, minimal rust (impressive for age)
Interior is in great condition, only fault being I took of the slots on door cars due to them being broken but they are easily replace for next to nothing. The parcel shelf has had speakers cut into it (previous owner not me).
The car has done me very well and I can guarantee the lucky new owner will be more than happy.
Great to drive, and an amazing colour (respray - previous owner not me) the only fault being that the respray is only external. So much potential and the gearbox could easily be replace if you wanted a manual apposed to auto.
Good points:
Strong Car
Barely any rust
Good on fuel & good mpg
Non smokers
Very clean interior
Structurally sound car don't see many like it.
Great as a daily or a weekender
Stereo fitted
Perelli P Slot alloys - Black with all round good tyres - Cost me £350 on the tyres in feb. (low profiles)
Lovely standard car, but with lots of potential
Stacks of history - almost every mot since 1983!!
Drives very well - great gearbox - surprising!
A proper little cruiser.
Bad points:
One headlamp out
Fuel issue - needs a new filter and possibly pump will fix myself if i get the chance or can provide the part depending on how quick it sells and the price of sale. (does not cost much at all)
Will be very sad to see him go
